The celebrity.....(insert whatever)
This is a nobody to me, because I don´t recognize her name at all but that´s fine, she is a nutritionist and that´s what was interesting to me And the first sentence when the video plays is: "I´m a celebrity nutritionist bla bla bla.....". Dude, really...I don´t care that you are celebrity something...it´s cheesy, all these celebrity cook, personal trainers bla bla, come on brand yourself for who you are and what you can offer. This is just shallow, I personally don´t get struck by if someone is "celebrity "something"". It doesn´t really tell me that you are a big deal. Plus who is celebrity to them anyway? It can be anyone who has been in any TV show once, right? Why does it mean that you are good because you are "celebrity.....something". Dude, please...give me a break, give me "something special"

The Calendar power
I recently bought myself a calendar where you can write your to-do list for the day. For the past years I have used a free one, the University of Iceland provided them for free for its students. Since I moved to Denmark I haven´t had one on paper, but always used the calendar on my phone to schedule and organize things I need to do. But since Im a full time master student I decided it´s best to buy one paper calendar, not too big so I can always carry it around Looking through the pages it got me thinking...why do the weekend days have smaller empty lines than weekdays?
Yes I know the obvious answer is because they are free days, time for relaxation and chill out, or partying. But I´m wondering, ok if you are a full time worker, wouldn´t you actually use the free days to express and enjoy yourself and make the most of your time away from work/school duties? You don´t have to go small, go big, do something big, overfill the few empty lines in those calendars
Another thing connected to this "weekend" discussion...people often ask "What are you doing?" and let´s say it is Friday or Saturday. And I´m not doing anything special but chilling, because I don´t feel like it or don´t have the energy at the moment. Then starts the convincing " Oh come ooooon, it´s Friday/Saturday!". I´m thinking ok, but why do I have to obey these dogmas that it is weekend and therefore I need to be partying?! Why does it all have to be according to the "weekend rules"? I want us to be able to party or enjoy friends company in a party environment whenever we feel like it, even though it´s Monday evening, or Wednesday. It is way too structured and impersonal. It´s weekend guys! You have to obey the "weekend rules " and do what you are supposed to do on weekends! Blah...

You deserve it soooo.....!
Hi ya´ll near and far!
This is a completely Icelandic saying "near and far" hehe it´s just so well rhymed in Icelandic "nær og fjær" Well yeah Iceland and typical Icelandic sayings...of course. One of those so typical sayings that I see lately ALOT is...when a couple has just started dating and they both look so happy and jolly on the Facebook pictures (´cuz let´s face it nowadays Facebook is the daily most updated and free media between friends and acquaintances) which is of course completely expectable in the beginning of most relationships, then the comments I usually see are as Awww you are both so cute and sweet! Ohh you deserve it so! (addressed to the girl usually). Also comments like OMG you are so beautiful, you deserve it! I wish you all the best!!. So this oh you so deserve it thing has got me thinking...because I see it so often! I mean what does it mean you deserve it? And why do you deserve and who actually doesn´t deserve it? Or do you deserve it because it just finally happened that you met someone you like? Don´t we like all deserve it?
Come on...or is this already a common saying you deserve it, just to say something. Is that the new way of saying kind of Congratulations? I´m wondering... I really don´t know what it means? Or it could also sound like pitying you deserve it as in: oh finally you found someone
God, you´ve been looking forever! Finally! Poor you! You deserve it! hahahahaha
Geez I´d really like to hear your opinions on that!

Date on the sofa
Yeah about those...I don´t get the point of meeting someone new and have a video night together. Is that a date? I don´t see it as one If you don´t really know the person, would you be able to enjoy the silence of each other together? I think people have to be really comfortable with one another so they could enjoy being together in front of the tv. Am I being too deep? No, I mean watching video together is cozy and cuddly, what if you don´t know each other so well? You just gonna sit there and share pop and candy? Hahah
Well it´s not soo weird, I mean I have done it. But I have met the guy for dinner and a night out first, so I mean we knew something about each other, not straight "meet you by the sofa " date hehe
I just mean that it might be weird to do so. No? Yes? Anyone?
